Mary Scanlan, co-founder and CEO of Woody Creek Distillers, grew up in the Midwest, where her love of hockey began early. After making Colorado her home, she and her family became active supporters of Aspen Junior Hockey, experiencing firsthand the sport’s power to build community, purpose, and belonging. That connection, and a deep belief in expanding opportunities for women in sport, led Woody Creek to sponsor the inaugural season of the world’s first professional women’s hockey league.
Just like Mary, Colorado and Minnesota share the belief that hockey runs deep, and fans trust the brands that consistently show up for the game. Over the past three years, Woody Creek Distillers has deepened that commitment through NHL partnerships with the Colorado Avalanche and the Minnesota Wild.
