Office Administrator/Bookkeeper
Location: Basalt, CO
Terms: Hourly/Full-time
Requirements: Typical work hours are between 8am and 4pm.
Compensation: $25-28/hour, based off experience

About the Role:
WCD is seeking a full-time Office Administrator/Bookkeeper. This role will be responsible for basic administrative and accounting duties. Success in this role will entail keeping the daily office and financial aspects of the company organized and accomplished timely; therefore, allowing management to confidently focus on the growth of the company. This role will directly impact all departments of the company and assist in driving organization, process optimization and accountability throughout WCD. As the Office Administrator/Bookkeeper, you will report directly to the Director of Finance & Operations, while collaborating closely with the Chief Operating Officer. In addition, general collaboration and communication with all WCD departments is required for successful execution of your duties.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Office Admin
- Maintain effective filing systems (both digital and physical).
- Lead transition from historical paper filing to digital filing (Google Drive).
- Assist in purchasing supplies based on departmental budgets and inventory needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to establish and document both intra-departmental and inter-departmental Standard
- Operating Procedures.
- Assist in maintaining and updating company policies.
- Assist in logistical support for the production team.
- Maintain facility and company calendar.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure employee files are accurate.
- Organize and distribute daily mail.
Bookkeeping
- Maintain and update customer and vendor profiles.
- Maintain Accounts Payable inbox and enter invoices for processing.
- Process invoices timely ensuring compliance with company approval matrix.
- Ensure credit card transactions are in compliance with corporate credit card policy and all necessary receipts are submitted.
- Bill customers based on PO’s entered into the system and monitor AR Aging for follow ups.
- Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure GL postings are transmitted accurately.
- Own the daily cash application and monthly bank reconciliation process.
- Assist in tracking and accounting for donation of product.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes including preparing various journal entries and GL reconciliations.
- Assist in annual budget and 3rd party tax prep processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting, business administration or equivalent business experience.
- Experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks Online).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- General computer proficiency and ability to adapt to new systems.
- Communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.

Tasting Room Bartender
Location: Basalt, CO
Terms: Hourly/Part-time
Pay: $25/hour + tips
Requirements: Typical work hours are between 1pm and 9pm; Wednesdays – Saturdays

About the Role:
WCD is seeking a part-time bartender for our tasting room. The ideal candidate is passionate about craft cocktails, excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, providing tours of the facility, understanding the basic process of whiskey distillation, and maintaining a clean and organized bar.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Bartending Skills
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drinks and menu items.
- Maintain knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, as well as any seasonal or specialty drinks.
- Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately using the Toast POS system.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies.
- Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age.
- Maintain knowledge of distillation process and provide tours of the distillery to guests.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering bar supplies as needed.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and spirit pairings.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in pouring and handling transactions.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (such as kegs or cases of liquor).
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (such as TIPS or ServSafe) is a plus.

Senior Operations Manager
Location: Basalt, CO
Terms: Salary/Full-time

About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager to take the reins of our distillery’s operations and drive it forward with speed, structure, and purpose. This is not a status quo role—it’s for a leader who sees inefficiency and fixes it, who knows how to turn a craft facility into a manufacturing machine without losing the soul of the product.
As Operations Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of day-to-day production, implement scalable systems, and optimize output while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. You’ll play a critical role in transforming our distillery into a modern beverage manufacturing facility ready to grow fast and perform even faster.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead, plan, and execute all facets of production including fermentation, distillation, blending, bottling, and packaging
- Create and maintain a production schedule that balances quality, efficiency, and forecasted demand
- Implement systems and SOPs to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve throughput
- Develop KPIs and reporting tools to monitor productivity, downtime, and yields
- Collaborate closely with supply chain, sales, and finance to align production with inventory and demand planning
- Manage and train the production team to ensure accountability, cross-training, and operational discipline
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and TTB regulations, maintaining meticulous production and safety records
- Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure equipment is operating at peak efficiency
- Evaluate and select equipment or process improvements to scale production
- Drive a continuous improvement culture across the plant floor
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a beverage, food manufacturing, or distilling environment, with at least 3 years in a production leadership role
- Demonstrated experience scaling a production environment with measurable operational improvements
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing best practices: lean principles, GMP, preventive maintenance, etc.
- Strong technical understanding of distillation or beverage manufacturing processes
- Proven ability to lead teams through cultural and procedural change
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in production scheduling, ERP/MRP systems, and manufacturing software
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on your feet, and navigate a manufacturing facility daily
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, or related field
- Familiarity with beverage alcohol compliance and TTB reporting
- Forklift certification, OSHA 30, or Six Sigma/Lean certification
- Experience implementing automation or process controls in a beverage facility
Compensation:
- $100,000-$120,000
